AUTO-ROUTER / INSIDE ATAK

EASIEST covers 10.9 km in 4h35 and is seen or heard along 2 km of it, closest 110 m. MORE CONCEALED covers 11.1 km under 69% canopy, out of view, in 7h55. Exposure depends on the marked positions and the terrain data.
When a soldier marks a new threat, Auto-Router replans the route on the device in under 10 seconds. It works offline and keeps route data on the device.
Concealed routes avoid the line of sight of marked enemy positions where possible, with the seen or heard stretch shown per route. Line of sight is graded by canopy, and exposure counts double on crests and close to major ways.
Predicted radio detectability and GPS jamming are part of the route cost, so the router avoids them the way it avoids line of sight. On a Hohenfels test route with modelled threats, keep comms cut detectable time by 85% for 8% more march. In reverse, it plans a silent approach to a suspected enemy emitter.
The ANALOG route provides an exportable sheet with azimuths, pace counts, catching features, backstops and a lost procedure. Copy it to paper before you move, or let it carry the element through a jammed stretch.
Where roads and tracks are missing or out of date, Auto-Router builds a routable network from aerial and satellite imagery.
Planning rules draw on U.S. Army doctrine, with documented tool choices where doctrine does not specify a value. The radio model is a port of NTIA's Irregular Terrain Model, checked against 23,591 archive measurements.
